Betika License

The licence granted to Betika covers operations within Kenya and does not extend to certain countries and regions. Access to Betika’s website, mobile applications, and associated services is restricted in the following territories:

• United States of America — Federal and state-level regulatory prohibitions on foreign-licensed gambling operators
• United Kingdom — Licence coverage does not include UK Gambling Commission jurisdiction; separate authorisation required
• Australia — Interactive Gambling Act restricts access to unlicensed foreign online gambling services
• France — National regulator (ANJ) requires a locally issued licence for all online gambling services
• Spain — Directorate General for Gambling Regulation (DGOJ) mandates a Spain-specific gaming licence
• Netherlands — Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) licensing requirements apply; no active licence held for this jurisdiction
• Germany — Glücksspielbehörde licensing requirements; the platform does not hold a German gaming licence
• Italy — ADM (Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli) requires a separate national licence for operation

Betika is not the owner or parent entity of other companies licensed by the Betting Control and Licensing Board or any other gambling regulator, and does not exercise management control over such companies.

Betika holds no financial stake, managerial interest, or operational authority in separately licensed gambling companies operating under the BCLB or any equivalent regulatory body. The brand has no capacity to influence the business decisions, conduct, or compliance status of those independent entities. Accordingly, Betika bears no legal or regulatory responsibility for the actions, omissions, or violations of such companies. Any complaints, disputes, or legal claims relating to those entities must be addressed directly to the relevant company or submitted to the appropriate licensing regulator.

A licence verification system is available to allow users to confirm the current and authentic status of Betika’s gaming licence issued by the Betting Control and Licensing Board of Kenya.

This system functions as a digital status-check tool that provides real-time confirmation of licence validity. All text, imagery, seals, and associated materials displayed through or alongside the verification system remain the exclusive intellectual property of the issuing regulator. These materials are protected under applicable copyright law and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial or other purposes by third parties without express authorisation. Unauthorised use of verification content or licence seals may result in civil or criminal penalties under Kenyan law and relevant intellectual property legislation.

All trademarks, logos, service marks, and other commercial identifiers displayed on the Betika website and mobile applications are the protected property of the licence holder or the relevant regulatory authority.

Ownership of these marks is held exclusively by the designated rights holder, and protection extends beyond formally registered trademarks to cover domain names, visual identity elements, brand style components, and other distinctive identifiers associated with the platform. No individual, company, or third party is permitted to use, replicate, or misappropriate any protected mark without prior written authorisation from the rights holder. Violations of these ownership rights may expose the infringing party to legal liability under Kenyan intellectual property law and applicable international conventions.
